Our Mission:  Baan San Rak Children's Home exists to raise orphaned children into young men and women who will be a positive influence in their community and country in the name of Christ

·         As leaders in the Church - teaching, preaching, proclaiming the gospel

·         As teachers and educators in the public school system

·         As business professionals who can influence society and the political system

·         As talented artists who create works of art and music for the glory of God

·         As respected members of their communities who will influence those around them with the truth of Christ Jesus life, death, and resurrection

·         As godly parents who will have Christ centered marriages and will raise their children to know and love God

Our Goals:  

We seek to accomplish this mission by creating an environment where children will be loved, nurtured, and challenged to excel by: 

• Creating a caring and nurturing environment with:
• Long term care givers
• A safe and healthy place to grow, learn, and become the person God wants them to be
• A place where children know they are loved and valued
• Establishing a home environment -
• 6-8 children per home
• With at least three caregivers per home
• One volunteer worker serving as a Social worker (most likely foreigners)
• Lots of "family" support from the CCF fellowship - serving as big brother/sister, Aunt/Uncle, etc
• Building a strong spiritual emphasis through regular times of prayer, worship, and teaching where -
• House parents who model well a life of faith and a vibrant walk with God
• Biblical principles are evident in every area of the home
• A Parenting approach that builds healthy self-esteem and leadership ability by
• Giving each child unconditional love and support as specially created beings, made in the very image of God
• Identifying and treating physical and psychological problems which may impede proper development, such as -
• Early childhood trauma or neglect and resulting attachment disorders, etc
• Learning disabilities and health issues
• Teaching children to be responsible by
• Modeling responsible behavior and good self esteem
• Giving children opportunities to solve their own problems
• Setting limits through 'thinking words'
• Giving children age appropriate choices
• Correcting children using 'empathy with consequences'
• Providing quality educational opportunities and training through
• Early childhood education in house
• Quality public or private schooling
• Assistance with College or Vocational training
• Adequate tutoring and support to help each child succeed

• Currently living in government institutional settings
• Living in villages where they are being neglected or are not well cared for
• Without proper documentation or paper work and who are at high risk for human trafficking

Priority will be given to

• Children who have no living relatives
• Children who are at high risk for human trafficking
• Children who are most likely to be neglected or harmed due to prejudice or social stigma
